(1) For a building with a gross floor area less than 500m 2 in Zone E1, E2, MU1, B1, B2, B3, B4, B8, IN4, SP1, SP3, SP5 or W4 that existed before 1 February 2022— (a) car parking must be provided in accordance with an existing condition relating to car parking that applies to the use of the land, or (b) if there is no existing condition relating to car parking—the development must not reduce the number of car parking spaces on the land on which the development is carried out.
