(2) Development for the purpose of water storage facilities may be carried out without consent if it is carried out by or on behalf of— (a) any public authority on land in Zone RU1 Primary Production, Zone RU2 Rural Landscape, Zone SP1 Special Activities, Zone SP2 Infrastructure or an equivalent land use zone, or (b) Water NSW on land within the Sydney catchment area within the meaning of the Water NSW Act 2014 .
(2) Development for the purpose of water storage facilities may be carried out without consent if it is carried out by or on behalf of— (a) any public authority on land in Zone RU1 Primary Production, Zone RU2 Rural Landscape, Zone SP1 Special Activities or Zone SP2 Infrastructure, or (b) Water NSW or Sydney Water Corporation.
